Meet Richelle Dumas
Licensed transaction coordinator and REALTOR® · In Your Business · Transaction coordinator for The Kenna Group
Richelle Dumas is a Colorado real estate broker with her own independent license (Castle Rock), not licensed with Keller Williams DTC, and the transaction coordinator The Kenna Group works with. Through her own company, In Your Business, she runs every contract from accepted offer to closing, and on a divorce sale she is the reason the paperwork is right: the listing agreement with both signatures, the decree or stipulation terms carried into the contract, the payoff letters, the disbursement instructions that match the court order, and the closing that happens on the date it was set for.
Every Kenna divorce listing runs on the same written rules. The group prepares one market analysis, reviewed by Damon L. Chavez, Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist, for both spouses and both attorneys at the same time. Richelle tracks every deadline from listing to closing, keeps both spouses copied on every document, arranges separate signings when you want them, and confirms with the title company that the net proceeds go exactly where the decree says. Court-ordered sales and buyouts get the same daily attention.
She supports every divorce real estate file the group handles across the Front Range. Ask for Richelle by name when you call, or send the form; it goes straight to the group and we contact you only if you say yes.
Want to know more about Richelle’s real estate experience? Richelle’s profile, reviews and current listings on kennarealestate.com. And if you are reading this in the middle of a divorce: we know why you are here. Nobody will ask you to explain more than you want to, and nobody contacts you unless you say yes.
Part of the hardest working group in real estate. The Kenna Group operates under Keller Williams Realty DTC, LLC in the Denver Tech Center, is BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and is led by team leader and licensed broker Brian Lee Burke. Brian leads every divorce file, with Damon L. Chavez, Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist, reviewing the valuation. Why that matters when the house is in a divorce.
How a divorce sale with Richelle works
- Call or text. Tell Richelle where the case is (thinking about it, filed, decree entered) and whether one of you wants to stay. Here is the whole process.
- One written market analysis to both spouses at the same time. The group prepares the Smart Pricing Report, reviewed by Damon Chavez, Certified Real Estate Divorce Specialist; both of you and both attorneys get it at the same time. Appraisal versus CMA.
- Terms the court expects. Price rules, reductions, repairs, access and where the proceeds go, written into the stipulation or order before the sign goes up. Court-ordered sales.
- Richelle runs the showings and the paperwork. Separate signings if you need them, a log of every showing and offer, and nothing about the divorce in the marketing.
- Close and disburse as ordered. Proceeds go exactly where the decree or stipulation says. The $250k / $500k tax rule.
